experiment with learning vocabulary

  1. Spanish! Good for travel in the EU. I had to take French in school as Canada is (supposedly) a bilingual country, but I am not good at languages, so was never brave enough to try Spanish.

I’m interested in Italian and have done written translations of Italian writing. It seems easier perhaps because the roots are Latin and there are a lot of Latin roots in English.

    1. Well 🙂 I need a second foreign language for a particular university degree. I thought Spanish is the easiest language to learn, as the language has a similar root as English and German. But I am also not good at languages ;).
